The grapes on this east-west-facing plot ripen gradually, so the harvest has to be carried out in several passes. Sheep and geese roam freely between the rows, as this vineyard is home to the Pellé sheepfold, which helps maintain the site’s natural balance. On this Kimmeridgian marl terroir, finesse takes on a chalky expression. Length, balance, freshness and silky tannins combine to create a wine of depth, density and generosity, made to be enjoyed with food.
